Additionally, he looks at the way discounting and special offers have driven the market figures.
Such trend have occured, Garner says, becuase the financial conditions are finally beginning to eat into consumers’ pay.
The figures are released each month looking at the market share that the big four grocery retailers, along with indepedent stores, have over a 12-week period.
