Not for the first time this year have my shops proved their worth to the surrounding communities due to adverse weather conditions.
We had literally just decorated the outside of stores with Christmas trees and lights on Tuesday when a huge snowfall hit us.
With the help of my staff and friends with the right vechles we met our Wiseman, Warburtons, Country Choice and even P&H deliveries to collect the goods as they could not reach the stores due to their location.
This was not an easy task considering the volume of stock we have delivered but the end result was very busy shops and happy customers.
I know I am not alone, as this would be replicated up down the country by fellow retailers doing what we do best adapting to the trading climate and putting our customers first.
Let’s hope this spirit carries us through Christmas and to the end of the year!
