A tree made out of baubles, running santas: it's the other festive round-up

Well, it's nearly time to go home after the slog. I'm (just about) getting into the spirit of things.

But before I leave you, here's some things that have amused/amazed during the hectic Christmas rush:

The discount store in Bromley selling apparently EVERYTHING (complete with man who shouts almost incomprehensibly every ten seconds - "ladies, perfume, get your, gents, ladies, perfume, gents, ladies").

A new Christmas cheese section in Sainsbury's that literally takes up a whole aisle.

Getting sent four crates of Stella in the post, which is one way to try and make an entire office of people drunk before the official "end of term".

A tree made out of baubles (when the baubles become the tree itself, what does that say about the state of the world?)

Santa dash: enough to make you go slightly crazy.

The signs in the window at Woolworths that change everyday (only 4/3 days left etc). Really worth the effort?

Have a great Christmas and an even better new year.
