Talking Retail presents: Retail Search

Eagle-eyed users of Talking Retail may have noticed the new drop-down menu next to our search button (above right).

If you've been wondering what it is, well, it's the prototype of a customised web search designed to help UK retail professionals find what they're looking for quickly and easily.

Using Google technology, we've selected websites we think are directly relevant to people working in UK grocery retail.

So, if you do a search on Tesco, for example, you won't be faced with hundreds of results from Tesco.com or anti-Tesco lobby groups. Instead, it'll just search the Tesco corporate site and other trade-related sources.

It's still a work in progress, so if anyone's got any suggestions for amendments or improvements, please email editor@talkingretail.com
