Police track down deodorant duoInteresting story in Metro. Two 19 year olds went into a Spar store in South Molton, Devon and helped themselves to a few under arm sprays of Lynx deodorant, hopeful, no doubt, that it would have the desired affect and attract the local beauties. Alas, the only attention they got was from hacked-off store staff. The two refused to pay for the used spray and left the store. Intrepid police eventually tracked them down - no sniffer dogs in this case - and fined them £80 each in Fixed Penalty Notices. The two argued that they were testing the spray but the Police said they had taken something that did not belong to them. Spot on. Otherwise anybody could go into their local convenience store, sample one of the excellent sandwiches, a chunk of luxury chocolate and wash it down with a half cappuccino and a slug of New World from that handy screw cap bottle.
