Subpostmaster blues

Independent retailers might like to keep an eye on the following blog that we've discovered here at Talking Retail.

Village Counter Talk relates the day-to-day issues faced by a subpostmaster and his wife running a village shop.

Their problems will probably be familiar to most independent retailers: youngsters trying to buy cigarettes, a preoccupation with Tesco, newspaper inserts, the smoking ban.

Entertaining stuff.
