Talking Retail goes interactiveWe've come over all multi-media here at Talking Retail today. I've been out at a secret location in deepest Kent (oh, all right then, Burgess Stores in Goudhurst) filming a couple of video clips to tie in with National Independents Week. Hopefully we'll have that on the site tomorrow, presuming I remembered to take the lens cap off. I'm also trying to get some MP3 sound files uploaded to go with the story about the British Library sound archive. Technology willing, once again, we'll have that on the site for you by the morning. Meanwhile, you might want to check out a couple of video clips we've already got up. We've got Roger Batty from Imperial Tobacco being interviewed at the Convenience Awards last month or (my personal favourite) a YouTube clip of some "guerrilla greens" raiding stores to protest about non-energy efficient lightbulbs. Haven't these students got anything better to do with their time? It wasn't like that in my day, I am not mad etc.
